Pallas Lab Publishes Review Paper in International Journal of Biochemistry and Cell Biology

J Hwang

The Pallas Lab published a major review paper in the February 2014 issue of the International Journal of Biochemistry and Cell Biology entitled, "STRIPAK Complexes: structure, biological function, and involvement in human diseases".  Prior to its February publication, the article was published electronically beginning December 2013 and is currently one of the most downloaded articles on Science Direct from the International Journal of Biochemistry and Cell Biology. By the end of February it had been viewed and/or downloaded over 1900 times. Graduate Student Jessie Hwang in the BCDB program is first author. Link to PubMed citation here>>

Pallas Figure

Figure Legend: Model of the STRIPAK complex in signaling pathways. The core STRIPAK complex is depicted in the center of the diagram with some of the STRIPAK components that are thought to mediate several functions of the STRIPAK complex. Other STRIPAK components are omitted for simplicity of the figure. Some of the known or potential connections of STRIPAK components to signaling pathways and cellular events are depicted by arrows.
