Serena Min

Serena is undergraduate student at Emory University, majoring in Biology. She was born in South Korea and lived in Singapore for 5 years. Since her relative have suffered from cancer, she gained a passion in discovering the molecular mechanisms regarding diseases to develop approach for treatment. She has developed strong interests in molecular biology and biochemistry. She seeks to explore the mechanism of gene regulation, specifically by R-loops. Beyond academics, Serena enjoys exploring new cultures through travel, spending time with friends, drawing, and discovering music which inspires her creativity.
