Aaron Pan
Aaron is an undergraduate student at Emory University, double-majoring in Biology and Computer Science. He was born and raised in Edmond, Oklahoma. He loves research because of the collaboration, the potential far-reaching impacts, and the opportunity to find answers to questions that no one knows the answers to. Generally, he's interested in computational biology research and its potential to accelerate the research process for the development of novel disease treatments. After college, he plans to pursue an MD or PhD (not quite sure yet!). His research leverages AI software like AlphaFold to predict the interactions of human proteins with nucleic acids. Outside of the lab, Aaron enjoys playing pickleball with friends, binging sitcoms, and exploring new restaurants.
